The Washington and Gateshead South parliamentary constituency is located in the North East of England.

It was created as a result of the 2023 periodic review of Westminster constituencies and first contested in the 2024 general election,

The constituency includes parts of the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead (Birtley and Lamesley wards) and the City of Sunderland (Castle, Redhill, Washington Central, Washington East, Washington North, Washington South, and Washington West wards)
